Terms of Service

Last updated: April 28, 2026

Agreement

By using this website or requesting a quote or services from Flippy Renos & Construction (“Flippy,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit a request.

Website use

Content on this site is for general information. We try to keep details accurate but do not guarantee that the site is error-free or always available. You agree not to misuse the site (including attempting to disrupt security, overload systems, or scrape data in a way that harms our operations).

Quotes and contracts

Information on the website is not a binding offer. Written estimates, scopes of work, and signed agreements govern price, timeline, and deliverables. Verbal discussions are helpful, but the documents we agree to in writing (including email confirmations where applicable) control the work.

Access and safety

You are responsible for safe access to the work area, disclosure of known hazards (such as asbestos, mould, or structural issues), and permissions needed for us to perform the work. Delays or extra costs caused by undisclosed conditions may require a revised scope or estimate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in Alberta, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website (apart from services performed under a separate written agreement) is limited to the amount you paid us specifically for that matter in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred Canadian dollars, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum allowed by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flippy and its team from claims or losses arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of the site, or inaccurate information you provide—except where prohibited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Courts in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the website, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules where they apply.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Your continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
